Bernadette
came to her local LIFE House desperate for help. Fleeing domestic violence,
pregnant with her third child, and with nowhere else to turn, she didn’t think
it would be possible to over-come longstanding issues and repair her
relationship with her family.
Her Support Plan worked on building confidence
and self-esteem and together with her Support Worker, Bernadette developed a
valuable network of friends and family to ensure she was happy and safe when she
was ready to leave our care.

LIFE in Your Area
LIFE has over 30 Care Centres around the country, offering practical and emtional help to anyone facing a crisis pregnancy, or struggling to provide for their new baby. In addition, we run a network of 25 houses offering supported accommodation to young women aged between 16 and 25 who are homeless and either pregnant or with under-fives.
Our Education officers work in schools spread throughout the UK whilst our FertilityCare clinc is centrally-based and easily accessible by car, train or bus.
