Leading UK pro-life charity LIFE, is today calling upon the medical establishment and the government to face up to the fact that abortion is a leading cause of breast cancer.
LIFE spokeswoman Nuala Scarisbrick says: ‘Today the Government’s Director of cancer services is saying that efforts need to be directed at promoting early diagnosis of cancer. And while this is undoubtedly the case, a key factor behind the UK’s soaring breast cancer rate is our high abortion rate.

LIFE spokesperson Mark Bhagwandin says: ‘The rising rate is being pushed up by teenage abortions, with half of all under-18 pregnancies ending in abortion. This is a disaster on a massive scale and each and every one of those abortions is a tragedy.

‘There is a huge contradiction between the way born and unborn children with Down’s and other special needs are treated,’ says LIFE spokesperson, Joanne Hill. ‘Quite rightly, society goes out of its way to prove how inclusive it is once babies with disabilities are born, but seeks to destroy them prior to birth.
