Case Study Example (before and after treatment chart)

We assess multiple biological markers which each provide a windows into a woman’s fertility. These include for example menstrual bleeding pattern, pre- or postmenstrual brown bleeding, mucus build-up and quality, and duration of different phases within the cycle.

In the example here the woman has a reduced mucus pattern and low score. Reduced or absent mucus compromises a couple’s chance of conception. The woman also has several days of light bleeding prior to normal menstrual bleed which may signify a hormonal abnormality. We believe such markers warrant further investigation.

If medical tests confirm abnormalities then treatment is provided. The effect of treatment is clearly shown on the chart. The two cycles here demonstrate how the couple’s window for conception has increased and the bleeding pattern is normalised.

We continue to monitor hormone levels cycle by cycle throughout the whole treatment time.
