LIFE Education
The LIFE Education Programme responds to the need, requests and requirements of educational establishments across the country to present the pro-life ethos.
The programme's ultimate objective is to uphold the rights and dignity of every human being from fertilisation to natural death. We endeavour to change the culture of the society in which we live.
Many people don't understand, or have never heard, the reasons for which pro-lifers oppose abortion, embryo research and the legalisation of assisted suicide. One of the most important aspects of LIFE Education's work is to explain these reasons, to demonstrate that one can be a pro-lifer and also be reasonable, well-informed and interested in what others have to say. Explaining our values and our vision is one of the main purposes of the LIFELines section of this site.
Every year LIFE speaks to tens of thousands of young people about the issues that matter to them and impact upon their lives. Many years of experience have taught us that young people require information that is well-evidenced, relevant, accurate and delivered in an engaging manner that allows them to think for themselves. We feel privileged to work with them, exploring issues that touch upon matters of life and death.
Our professional Education Officers are dynamic, well-informed and in touch with the aspirations and concerns of young people. They present up-to-date, relevant information in a coherent and challenging framework, using multimedia presentations to stimulate debate
