LIFE provides help and support to thousands of women and men each year. Our core services are Caring, Education, Housing and the FertilityCare Programme.

LIFE Caring

We offer free, confidential information, counselling and support for women contemplating abortion, suffering after pregnancy loss or struggling to cope after abortion. Our trained counsellors and skilled helpers are there to listen, not to judge. We have a nationwide network of care centres, a free national helpline open 6 days a week (0800 915 4600) and a ‘text-to-talk’ service (0778 620 0330). Our national helpline is staffed by some of our most experienced counsellors. You can call if you have a quick query, or if you want to talk in depth to someone over the phone.

LIFE can also provide financial and practical help and support before and after birth. We have a network of baby shops which can supply baby clothes and equipment, and our care centres can also supply clothes and equipment to anyone who might need help. Please contact us for more details.

LIFE Education

Every year LIFE gives hundreds of talks to thousands of students on issues that impact upon their lives and the lives of their friends and families’ abortion, sex and relationships, stem cell research and euthanasia.

We employ a team of professional, young, and dynamic PR/Education officers who are able to engage with students in a manner they appreciate and understand. We run successful Year 10 and Sixth Form Conferences which are well attended. Students welcome the opportunity to talk about ‘life’ issues in an open and calm way. Students are actively encouraged to explore all the difficult questions.

LIFE Housing

We have 33 houses nationwide which offer accommodation for pregnant women or mother of small children. While in a LIFE house women have the opportunity to learn life skills, and are fully supported through their pregnancy and as long afterwards as necessary. We also provide community outreach schemes in parts of the UK to support mothers and children in their communities.

LIFE FertilityCare Programme

We offer natural fertility treatment for married couples and natural fertility management. Our unique, woman-friendly approach to fertility related issues avoids the creation and destruction of early human life which is integral to so many of the new reproductive technologies.
